My daughter and I just finished reading (me to her) the 1-8 series. It took us about 3-4 months to read. It was great to go to bed with the same characters, Lily and Jess. It made my daughter want to keep reading about their adventure. The animal characters appropriately developed for the early school age child. The plots are easy to follow and kept my daughters attention. Easy to read and as she keeps reading, soon she will be able to read these books as emerging chapter books. I really enjoyed her books!
